Broadcasting camp

Description

Students enrolled in this camp will be directly involved in learning the technical and on-air aspects of broadcasting a “live” or recorded production. Campers will be exposed to news writing, videography, sound, lighting, announcing, play-by-play, and editing. Students will spend the week producing a newscast that showcases their own writing and production skills! Sports announcing and play-by-play will be highlighted through the use of the BA Press Box. Parents are welcome to attend that Friday’s premiere of our BA News at 2pm. Awards will follow.

Broadcasting Camp

Camp will be held on BA's main campus in Mr. Nagel's class is located in room #304.
Camp will run from July 14th - 18th, 12 - 3pm.
Rising 7th, 8th, and 9th grade students are welcome to attend.
A mobile device and Bluetooth capable earbuds, AirPods, or headphones are required.
Cost $200 for the week and includes materials needed, snacks, and awards/certificates.
