The True Blue Legacy Scholarship is designed to identify and support a new Beaufort Academy student throughout his/her Upper School tenure at Beaufort Academy. Founded anonymously by Beaufort Academy supporters, this award focuses on identifying well-rounded critical thinkers who wish to cultivate their intellectual curiosity, strength of character and sense of responsibility while enrolled at Beaufort Academy. Applicants must demonstrate academic excellence and have a desire to serve in the community while possessing strong ambition, have a winning attitude, and demonstrate courage, clarity and character.
New students in rising 8th - 12th grades who have completed a new student application and submitted required admission documents are encouraged to apply. It consists of an online application, essay, (2) online teacher recommendations, and a personal interview for the final candidates by the True Blue Legacy Scholarship Committee.
The recipient of the scholarship will receive a full tuition scholarship (not including athletic or enrollment fees), up to four consecutive Upper School academic years while enrolled at Beaufort Academy.
